Your Experienced Dentist Near Twin Waters
Cotton Tree Dental has been providing dental care across the local area since 1998, in a clinic where appointments are structured around patient comfort, oral health, and time given to each person.
Your Dental Health Comes First
A number of patients come to us for the first time having deferred dental care for longer than they planned, often after an earlier experience that left them reluctant to attend.
From the moment you contact us, the focus is on making things straightforward. Your dentist will work through your history at the start of each visit, and nothing will be recommended until you have a clear picture of what is involved and what your options are.

WHAT WE OFFER
Dental Services Across Every Stage of Life
Our clinic covers general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative procedures for patients across all life stages.

Hand-Crafted Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are shaped and fitted to address chipped, discoloured, or uneven teeth. Suitability and what to expect from treatment are discussed in detail with your dentist at the consultation stage.

Dental Implants
Patients who have lost teeth may wish to discuss dental implants. A post placed in the jaw provides the foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture, working to restore oral function and appearance.

Invisalign
Clear aligners offer an approach to orthodontic correction without fixed metal brackets. A series of custom-fitted trays guides the teeth through gradual realignment, and your dentist assesses progress at scheduled review appointments.

Professional Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening through Philips Zoom is available with in-clinic and take-home options. Your dentist will recommend which approach suits your teeth, taking into account their current condition and any history of sensitivity.

Gum Contouring
Where the gum line appears uneven or higher than desired, gum contouring may address the concern. Your dentist evaluates suitability and explains what is involved before any treatment is scheduled.
Designed Around Patient Comfort
Appointments at this practice are structured with patient comfort as a consistent priority. How the clinic is set up, how information is communicated, and how much time is given to each visit all reflect this focus.
- Digital X-rays, CBCT, OPG, and 3D scanning for thorough clinical assessment and treatment planning
- Dedicated time is built into each appointment so your dentist can listen, assess, and explain
- Refreshments on arrival, TVs with noise-cancelling headphones in each room, and weighted blankets for patient comfort
- English, Korean, Farsi, and Arabic are spoken across our team throughout your appointment

Your First Appointment
At your opening appointment, your dentist carries out a clinical review of your teeth, gums, and oral health, with imaging applied where relevant.
Each finding is discussed with you before any treatment is recommended, so you leave fully informed about your dental health and the options available.

Once you are ready to proceed, we will put together a treatment schedule that fits your availability and work through each stage with you.
The same dentist handles your care throughout, so your preferences and history do not need to be repeated at each appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Note: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
How do I know if clear aligners are suitable for me?
Clear aligners are used to address a range of spacing, crowding, and alignment concerns, but suitability depends on the nature and extent of the misalignment. A clinical assessment including digital imaging allows your dentist to review whether aligners are appropriate for your situation. Not every case is suited to this approach, and your dentist will discuss all available options with you after the examination.”
What types of dentures are available, and what does the process involve?
Dentures are available as full or partial options depending on how many teeth are absent. Full dentures replace an entire arch, while partial dentures fill gaps where some natural teeth are still present. The process involves taking impressions of the mouth, fitting a trial appliance, and refining the final denture for comfort and function. Your dentist will explain each stage as you go and outline what the settling-in period involves, including any minor adjustments that may be needed once the appliance is fitted.
What does a professional dental clean involve?
A professional clean, also known as a scale and polish, involves removing calculus and plaque deposits from the tooth surface and along the gum line, areas that regular brushing and flossing cannot consistently reach on their own. This is typically carried out at routine dental visits and forms an important part of preventive care. Your dentist or hygienist will often provide guidance on oral hygiene practices at home to support ongoing gum and tooth health.
How long can dental implants be expected to last?
Dental implants are designed to be a long-term restoration, and with proper care, many remain stable and functional for many years. Longevity depends on factors including oral hygiene, bone density, lifestyle habits such as smoking, and attendance at regular dental visits for monitoring. Your dentist will discuss realistic expectations for your specific situation and what ongoing care is involved after placement.
What does preventive dentistry include, and why does it matter?
Preventive dentistry covers the steps taken to maintain oral health and reduce the risk of dental disease developing or progressing. This includes routine check-ups, professional cleans, digital X-rays, fluoride application where clinically appropriate, and advice on oral hygiene and diet. Catching dental issues early, or preventing them from arising in the first place, generally leads to simpler and less involved treatment over time and supports long-term oral health.
Can dental treatment be carried out under oral sedation at your practice?
Yes. Oral sedation is available at our practice for patients who are nervous about dental treatment or who are undergoing more complex procedures. It involves taking medication beforehand that produces a relaxed, drowsy state during the appointment. Patients remain conscious but are less aware of the procedure and often have limited memory of the visit. A support person is required to take you home, and your dentist will cover all preparation steps and what to expect on the day during your initial consultation.
